The Commonwealth Fund Its mission is to promote a high performing health care system that achieves better access, improved quality, and greater efficiency, particularly for society's most vulnerable, including low-inome people, the uninsured, minority Americans, young children, and elderly adults.

National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions Medicaid provides health insurance for 3 in every 10 children in the United States, making it the nation's largest children's health program. NACHRI and the American Academy of Pediatrics have a series of one-page, state specific fact sheets on children and Medicaid.
